- HP HP.N plans to reduce its workforce by 4,000 to 6,000 employees, up to 10% of its total, by the end of fiscal 2028.

- Warner Music Group WMG.O has made a deal with artificial intelligence music-generator Suno that will let the startup launch new models based on licensed songs.

- Walmart WMT.N is testing ‘Sponsored Prompt’ ads within its AI shopping agent, Sparky, to monetize chat experiences and personalize product recommendations.

- Taiwan's Foxconn 2354.TW said it had secured regulatory approval to invest an additional $569 million in the U.S. state of Wisconsin to meet rising demand for AI servers.

- Goldfish crackers maker Campbell’s CPB.O said it placed an executive on temporary leave after he was allegedly caught on tape saying the company made 「highly processed food」 for 「poor people.」

- Senate Republicans plan to challenge vehicle-safety mandates, including automatic emergency braking, at a January hearing, citing ineffectiveness and increased costs.
