Mammoth Minerals (ASX:M79) said that a property-wide high-resolution magnetic survey across the Excelsior gold project in Nevada defined a new exploration target, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
It identified significant ground disturbances from previous costeaning, prospector pits, and shafts via LiDAR, and it has taken 350 rock chip samples from these old workings.
Its board is also advancing the evaluation of potentially spinning out the Blue Dick silver-copper-antimony-gold project in Nevada and the Skyline copper-silver-zinc-gold project in Newfoundland, Canada via a demerger and concurrent IPO, subject to shareholder and ASX approval.
