Chen Lin Education Group Holdings Ltd. has issued a profit warning, announcing that it expects to record a loss of no less than RMB320 million for the financial year ended 31 August 2025, compared to a profit in the previous year. The loss is primarily attributed to significant one-off non-cash expenses, including impairment losses of goodwill and certain non-current assets, as well as a one-off non-cash loss related to the restoration of deferred revenue following the withdrawal of an application to convert from a not-for-profit to a for-profit college. The company emphasized that, excluding these one-off items, its adjusted non-IFRS net profit before interest, tax, and depreciation is expected to remain stable. The financial results are yet to be audited and are subject to further adjustments.
