Goodland Group's Fiscal H2 Attributable Profit Surges Despite Lower Revenue

Goodland Group's (SGX:5PC) attributable profit to owners surged to SG$3.8 million during the fiscal second half ended Sept. 30, from SG$1.4 million a year earlier, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Earnings per share jumped to SG$0.0107 compared with SG$0.0038 in the comparable period.

Revenue, meanwhile, declined 89% year over year to SG$592,000 from SG$5.5 million, due to lower revenue generated from development projects.

The lifestyle property developer proposed a final dividend of SG$0.0015 per share for the period, subject to shareholder approval at the annual general meeting.
