Lai Sun Development (HKG:0488) is in talks with JD.com (HKG:9618) to sell its 50% ownership in the China Construction Bank Tower in Hong Kong's Central, according to a DebtWire report.

The developer has reportedly reached a preliminary agreement with JD.com, a source said. However, another person familiar with the process said bidding is yet to be settled, according to the report.

The developer expects to book about HK$2 billion in net proceeds from the sale of its stake.
