Ecopetrol (EC) said late Friday it completed negotiations with Grenergy Renovables for the potential acquisition of seven companies within its portfolio in Colombia.

Each company owns the assets, licenses, agreements, and permits for a solar photovoltaic project with an estimated renewable energy generation capacity of up to 12.6 megawatt-peak per project.

The company said the deal is subject to certain conditions precedent and other certain legal requirements.
