Entergy Louisiana has begun construction on two new combined-cycle combustion turbine generation facilities in Richland Parish. The Franklin Farms Power Station, recently approved by the Louisiana Public Service Commission, will add around 1,500 megawatts of efficient natural gas generation capacity.
