Extrawell Pharmaceutical (HKG:0858) reported an attributable loss of HK$459.7 million for the fiscal first half, swinging from a profit of HK$100.9 million a year earlier, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Friday.

Shares of the pharmaceutical company gained over 8% in morning trade Monday.

Loss per share for the half year ended Sept. 30 was HK$0.1909, compared with EPS of HK$0.0339 in the prior year.

Revenue fell to HK$28.0 million from HK$30.8 million last year, figures showed.
