LG Uplus (KRX:032640) entered a partnership with BC Card to enhance the accuracy and quality of its AI call app ixio by integrating BC Card's merchant and payment data, the South Korean mobile network operator said in a Thursday release.

Under the agreement, BC Card's insights will feed into the ixio AI Assistant, enabling more precise real-time search, recommendations, and location-based information during calls.

The upgraded service "Ixio AI Secretary", launching in 2026, will allow ixio to identify top-performing restaurants or venues based on actual sales data, the release said.
