Horizon Minerals (ASX:HRZ) secured a land use agreement with the Marlinyu Ghoorlie Native Title Claimant Group covering the majority of the company's tenure in the eastern goldfields region of Western Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The agreement establishes a cooperative framework for identifying and protecting Aboriginal cultural heritage at the company's projects, detailing protocols for heritage surveys, site protection safeguards, and procedures for grant of tenure and clearance for activities, the filing said.
