Interface Inc. has been recognized as a global sustainability leader in the Sustainability Leaders 2025 Survey, conducted by GlobeScan and the ERM Sustainability Institute. The company ranked sixth in the 2025 report and is noted as the only organization to have appeared in every survey since 1997. The survey polled 391 sustainability experts across 57 countries regarding companies effectively integrating sustainability into business strategies. Interface has set a goal to become carbon negative by 2040 without relying on offsets and has surpassed the halfway mark for its 2030 science-based targets, as validated by the Science Based Targets initiative. Recent initiatives include the development of a carbon negative nora® rubber prototype and the use of captured carbon in carpet tile manufacturing in the U.S. and Europe.
