The analysts say they would have expected Confluent to try and record several quarters of strong results and shown stabilizing cloud growth before selling, given that would have helped its shares appreciate close to the rumored deal value, they say. "We would have figured the company would have held out for a while longer in hopes they could deliver strong results for more than just one quarter," they say.
