Navitas Semiconductor Corporation has announced a strategic long-term partnership with Cyient Semiconductors Private Limited to accelerate the adoption of gallium nitride (GaN) technology in India. The collaboration aims to co-develop GaN products, digital and mixed signal ICs, and GaN-based system modules for high voltage and high power applications, including AI data centers, electric mobility, performance computing, energy grid infrastructure, and industrial electrification. This partnership supports the Indian Government's "Make in India" initiative by building a local supply chain and manufacturing ecosystem, empowering Indian design houses and OEMs with locally sourced GaN components and manufacturing support. The joint effort also provides Indian customers with direct access to GaN technology, engineering collaboration, and technical support.
