Benz Mining (ASX:BNZ) found high-grade gold mineralization during recent drilling at its Glenburgh gold project's Zone 126 prospect in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The results were up to 15 meters at 12.7 grams per tonne grade of gold from 850 meters, and 20 meters at 5 g/t gold from 676 meters.
The company said that lenses one to five all remain open at depth, and interpretation of regional folding architecture pinpoints NE3 and Hurricane targets as the next high-grade opportunities.
The company's shares closed 9% higher on Monday.
