IBM and Riyadh Air have announced a major partnership to launch the world's first AI-native airline. Through this collaboration, Riyadh Air is leveraging IBM Consulting's expertise and technology, including IBM watsonx Orchestrate, to build an airline designed from the ground up with AI-driven operations. IBM Consulting coordinated 59 workstreams and over 60 partners to create a seamless end-to-end technology strategy for Riyadh Air. The partnership aims to transform guest and employee experiences, enhance operational efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making as the airline prepares for its first commercial service in early 2026. This initiative is expected to set a new benchmark for innovation in the aviation industry.
