Hong Kong recorded 93 new listings in the first 11 months of 2025, a 52% increase from 61 in the same period last year, according to the latest data published by the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKG:0388).

The initial public offering fundraising totaled HK$259.4 billion, surging 228% from HK$79.1 billion a year earlier.

Total equity funds raised rose 240% to HK$575 billion.

Trading activity accelerated in November, with average daily turnover jumping 43% year-on-year to HK$230.7 billion, the data showed.

HKEX said market capitalisation stood at HK$48 trillion at the end of November, compared with HK$34 trillion a year earlier.
