GrainCorp (ASX:GNC) received 7.4 million tonnes of grain at its up-country sites in Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria as of Monday, excluding winter crop receivals before Oct. 1 as well as direct-to-port receivals, according to a same-day statement by the company.
Harvest has largely wrapped up across Queensland, the company said. Some growers in northern New South Wales are still delivering grain. However, primary activity has shifted to the southern parts of the state.
Wheat, barley, and canola receivals are coming in in Victoria, after several weeks of wet weather.
GrainCorp's shares rose 1% in recent trading on Monday.
