IDT Corporation, through its NRSInsights division, reported a 3.8% year-over-year increase in same-store sales for November 2025 across its network of independent retailers, which includes convenience stores, bodegas, liquor stores, grocers, and tobacco and sundries sellers. The average price paid for the top 500 items increased by 3.1% compared to November 2024. Transactions rose by 0.9% year-over-year during the month. Compared to the previous month, same-store sales decreased by 0.7%, mirroring a 0.7% month-over-month decrease reported in October 2025. For the three months ended November 30, 2025, same-store sales increased by 4.6% versus the same period in the prior year. The reported inflation measure for November reached 3.1%, the highest level recorded in 2025.
