Hackett (HCKT) said late Monday it accepted to repurchase over 2 million common shares at $20 apiece for a cost of $40.6 million as part of its modified Dutch auction tender offer.

The shares accepted for purchase in the offer represent about 7.49% of Hackett's currently issued and outstanding common shares, according to a statement.
