Harley-Davidson (HOG) appointed Chief Financial Officer Jonathan Root to the newly created role of chief financial and commercial officer.

Bryan Niketh was named chief operating officer, effective Jan. 5, the company said Wednesday in a statement. He was most recently president of White River Marine Group.

Matt Ryan was appointed chief marketing and technology officer, and Marcus Fischer was named chief brand officer.
