Moog (MOG.A, MOG.B) and Niron Magnetics are collaborating to develop advanced actuators for guided munitions, Niron said Thursday.

Moog is exploring the use of Niron's Iron Nitride magnet technology in applications to convert electric input signals into precise mechanical motion, while reducing the use of rare earths in developing and testing advanced technologies for defense systems, Niron said.
