Archer Aviation Inc. has announced a partnership with Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) to accelerate the deployment of electric air taxis across the Kingdom. Under the agreement, Archer and GACA will collaborate to establish a regulatory framework for eVTOL air taxi operations, aligning with the FAA's certification standards to ensure global interoperability and safety. The initiative aims to enable early route testing and introduction of services in cities such as Riyadh and Jeddah, as well as major projects like Red Sea Global. This partnership follows Archer's recent collaboration with The Helicopter Company to launch eVTOL services with Red Sea Global.
