Beijing Yunji Technology (HKG:2670) will invest 7.6 million yuan to form a joint-venture company with five individual partners, according to a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the firm were up nearly 1% in Friday morning trade.
The new entity, Suzhou Yunfan Technology, will have registered capital of 10 million yuan, with Yunji holding a 76% stake. It will be accounted for as a non-wholly-owned subsidiary, the filing said.
The venture will focus on integrating robot hardware with AI agent technology and accelerating the commercialization of new applications.
