Church & Dwight to Sell Vitamin Gummy Companies

Church & Dwight is selling two vitamin gummy companies after doing a strategic review of its vitamin, minerals and supplement segment.

The consumer goods company said Tuesday it has agreed to sell VitaFusion and L'il Critters, both of which make vitamin gummies, to Piping Rock Health Products.

Church & Dwight didn't disclose the terms of the deal, which is expected to close before the end of this year.

The sale includes the two companies' brands, trademarks and licenses, as well as their manufacturing and distribution facilities in Vancouver, British Columbia, and Ridgefield, Washington.

The two brands represent less than 5% of Church & Dwight's anticipated net sales for 2025, it said. The company expects to incur a one-time, after-tax charge of $40 million to $45 million in the fourth quarter.

Church & Dwight, which owns brands such as Arm & Hammer and OxiClean, acquired VitaFusion and L'il Crutters in 2012 when it paid $650 million to acquire Avid Health.
