Kingston Resources (ASX:KSN) said underground drilling at the Southern Ore zone at the Mineral Hill copper-gold mine in New South Wales returned high-grade gold and copper assays, confirming geological interpretation and tenor of mineralization, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
It encountered intercepts of 1.4 meters at 16.33 grams per tonne grade of gold, as well as 2.88% grade of copper from 114.6 meters and 4.25 meters at 12.08 grams per tonne grade of gold, as well as 1.19% grade of copper from 10.75 meters.
The firm's shares jumped 4% in recent trading on Wednesday.
