Serve Robotics Expands to Alexandria, Va.

Serve Robotics expanded its robotic delivery service to Alexandria, Va., a city just outside of Washington, D.C.

The robotics company is working with Uber Technologies' Uber Eats to offer food deliveries using autonomous robots throughout the D.C. area.

The most recent expansion builds on Serve's efforts to roll its technology out across the U.S.

This year, Serve has launched and expanded in cities including Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta and the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Serve will be deployed in Alexandria immediately and plans to expand to additional neighborhoods in the area in the coming months, it said.
