Sanmina Corporation has announced a major expansion of its Energy business with the opening of a new state-of-the-art factory in Houston, Texas. The facility will focus on the US energy market and is set to manufacture a range of high-quality energy products, including medium-voltage distribution transformers, instrument transformers, and switchgear. Production is expected to begin in 2027, with initial customer commitments already secured. Additionally, Sanmina has entered into an agreement with Končar - Electrical Industry Inc. to co-design a custom medium-voltage transformer and explore further collaboration opportunities to support Končar's growth in the US market.
