EVgo Inc. announced that more than 40% of its charging stations deployed in 2025 utilized domestically manufactured prefabricated modular skids. This approach, developed in partnership with Miller Electric Company, has resulted in an average reduction of 15% in station installation costs and accelerated installation timelines. The prefabricated stations are operational in several states, including California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nebraska, New York, and Texas, with additional locations under development. The stations can charge up to 14 vehicles simultaneously and feature high-power 350kW fast chargers. The prefabrication method also allows for the integration of features such as Wi-Fi infrastructure, lighting, security cameras, and canopies.
