Air New Zealand Limited reported that it carried nearly 16 million passengers across its domestic and international network over the past 12 months, with a total of 15,937,410 passengers. Of these, 10,137,843 were domestic travelers and 5,799,567 were international travelers. The airline operated 166,406 flights, including 138,323 domestic and 28,083 international services. The most popular route overall was Auckland-Christchurch, serving 1,596,782 passengers, while the leading international route was Auckland-Sydney, with 634,698 passengers. Air New Zealand also noted that it welcomed 951,163 international visitors to New Zealand on its flights, representing approximately 30 percent of all international arrivals. The airline’s loyalty program, Airpoints, surpassed 5 million members for the first time.
