BlackSky Technology (BKSY) said Wednesday it has activated its third Gen-3 satellite for commercial use 21 days after launch.

The satellite expands access to high-resolution 35-centimeter imagery and automated AI-enabled analytics through the company's Spectra platform, the company said.

Customers can now task all three Gen-3 units for day and night imaging, including off-nadir angles, with real-time detection of vessels, aircraft and vehicles, the company added.
