Sun Communities (SUI) said Tuesday it named Mark Patten as chief financial officer, starting Jan. 5, 2026.

Patten will succeed Fernando Castro-Caratini, who will move into an advisory role, the company said.

Patten joins Sun Communities from Essential Properties Realty Trust (EPRT), where he is executive vice president, CFO, and treasurer, the company said.
