Joby Aviation Inc. has announced significant advancements in its flight test program and regulatory progress. In 2025, Joby conducted flight tests across three countries, including operations at the World Expo in Osaka, Japan, extreme-environment testing in the United Arab Emirates, and airport-to-airport missions in California. These tests contributed to over 50,000 miles flown and 850 flights in 2025, generating extensive operational data. The company has finalized its certification blueprint (G-1) with the FAA and is entering the final stage of validating design, flight, and manufacturing data. Joby’s Superpilot™ autonomous flight technology has been validated over thousands of miles, supporting ongoing efforts to integrate eVTOL operations into existing air traffic control systems. These research results have already been presented as part of Joby’s ongoing collaboration with regulatory agencies and participation in simulation exercises with the FAA and NASA.
