ICL Group (ICL) said Thursday it has signed a deal to acquire Canada-based Bartek Ingredients, a producer of food-grade malic and fumaric acid.

Under the terms of the deal, ICL will pay roughly $90 million to acquire approximately 50% stake in Bartek in the first phase, while the terms of the second phase were not disclosed.

ICL said it intends to complete the first phase of the acquisition in Q1 2026.
