Huize Holding Ltd. announced a shift to a semi-annual and annual financial reporting schedule, with financial results for the second half of 2025 and the full fiscal year expected in March 2026. The company also disclosed select operating metrics for the third quarter and the nine months ended September 30, 2025. For the third quarter of 2025, Huize reported first year premiums (FYP) of RMB 1,929.5 million, up from RMB 1,354.4 million in the same period last year. Renewal premiums reached RMB 837.8 million compared to RMB 706.3 million in 2024. Gross written premiums (GWP) increased to RMB 2,767.3 million from RMB 2,060.7 million. The number of new customers acquired was 343,000, down from 439,000 in the third quarter of 2024. For the nine months ended September 30, 2025, first year premiums totaled RMB 3,787.8 million, up from RMB 2,863.1 million in the same period last year. Renewal premiums were RMB 2,213.2 million, slightly down from RMB 2,252.5 million. Gross written premiums rose to RMB 6,001.0 million from RMB 5,115.6 million. New customers acquired reached 1.1 million, up from 898,000 in the prior year period, while accumulated customers totaled 11.7 million, an increase from 10.2 million. The 13-month persistency ratio was 97.8% compared to 97.2% last year, and the 25-month persistency ratio was 97.7% versus 97.1%.
