China Mobile (SHA:600941, HKG:0941) completed the registration of a state-owned share transfer involving 42.0 million A shares, or about 0.2% of its total share capital, from its parent China Mobile Group to China National Petroleum.
The transaction received approval from China's state asset regulator and was finalized on Dec. 18, according to a filing with the Shanghai bourse.
Following the transfer, China Mobile Group remains the controlling shareholder with a 68.8% stake, while China National Petroleum becomes a minor shareholder.
Shares of China Mobile were down 1% in recent trade.
