Ericsson (ERIC) and Zain Bahrain said Monday the companies entered an expanded partnership to deploy Ericsson's local packet gateway solution with 5G edge user plane technology.

The deployment will provide ultra-low latency and improved performance across Zain Bahrain's network, the companies said.
