Financial stocks fell in late Friday afternoon trading with the NYSE Financial Index dropping 0.2% and the State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF) declining 0.3%.

The Philadelphia Housing Index eased 0.3%, and the State Street Real Estate Select Sector SPDR rose 0.1%.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD) fell 0.1% to $87,703, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries was little changed at 4.14%.

In corporate news, a Coinbase Global (COIN) former customer service agent was arrested in India as part of an investigation into misconduct involving customer information, Chief Executive Officer Brian Armstrong said in a posting on X. Coinbase shares fell 0.9%.

JPMorgan Chase (JPM) froze the accounts of at least two stablecoin startups in recent months due to legal risks, The Information reported. The bank froze accounts for Latin America-focused Blindpay and Kontigo, which are financed by venture capital firm Y Combinator, the report said. JPMorgan shares fell 0.5%.

RLJ Lodging Trust (RLJ) may benefit from some tailwinds in 2026 even amid macroeconomic challenges, Truist Securities said. RLJ shares declined 0.4%.

Capital One Financial (COF) shares rose 0.2% after BTIG lifted its price target on the stock to $308 from $264, while keeping its buy rating.
