Singapore's telecommunications services price index rose 0.5% year over year in Q3, mainly due to growth in the wired & wireless telecommunications services sub-index, according to data released by Singapore's Department of Statistics on Friday.

Accounting services price index slipped 0.6% during the period, while cargo handling price index grew by 0.2% due to a 0.5% increase in stevedoring services sub-index.

Computer consultancy and information services price index rose 1.7% in Q3, while freight forwarding price index fell 5.9% year over year, as the sea freight forwarding sub-index fell 9.6%.

Meanwhile, postal and courier price index rose by 3% year over year, with the international postal and courier and local postal and courier sub-indices contributing to the growth.

However, sea freight transport price index plunged by 21.7% year over year, as all sub-indices fell during the period.

Warehousing and storage price index on the other hand, rose 4.8% year over year, as the general and refrigerated warehousing and dangerous goods storage sub-indices rose 1% and 9.9% respectively.
