Immersion (IMMR) said Friday it has been notified by Nasdaq that it did not timely file its quarterly report for the fiscal quarter ended Oct. 31.

The company said it also previously received notices from Nasdaq for not timely filing its annual report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended April 30 and its quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the fiscal quarter ended July 31.

Immersion has to submit an update to its original plan to regain compliance with Nasdaq listing rules by Jan. 7.

The company said it was unable to timely complete its reporting process and prepare financial statements due to audit committee investigations for the restatement of previously issued financial information.

Immersion said it is working to complete the necessary work to file the reports as soon as possible to regain compliance.
