Waaree Renewable Technologies Secures 5 MWp Capacity Enhancement in Solar EPC Contract

Waaree Renewable Technologies (BOM:534618, NSE:WAAREERTL) said its existing contract for a ground-mounted solar power project has been enhanced to 35 MWp from 30 MWp, according to an Indian bourse filing on Tuesday.

The commercial value of the order has increased from 902.9 million rupees to 1.03 billion rupees, excluding taxes, while all other terms and conditions remain unchanged, the filing said.

The project, awarded by a leading manufacturer of pig iron, castings, and seamless tubes, includes engineering, procurement, construction, and operation and maintenance of the 35 MWp plant, the company said in the filing.

The project is scheduled for completion in financial year 2026-27.
