1021 GMT - European AI-related stocks jump at the start of 2026 trading, tracking gains in Asian tech stocks. The largest gains are in the Netherlands, where semiconductor companies climb sharply. BE Semiconductor is the biggest riser, climbing 9.7%, while compatriots ASM and ASML jump 6.3% and 3.7%, respectively. Korean tech companies Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix climbed 7.2% and 4% in Asian trading after Samsung's CEO sounded a bullish tone on the company's latest high-bandwidth memory chips.
