Lion Rock Minerals (ASX:LRM) confirmed the presence of coarse monazite crystals during infill drilling at its Minta Est project in Cameroon, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

The discovery supports the monazite-enriched granite model as a source of alluvial monazite enrichment and validates the ongoing project exploration strategy, the filing said.

Additionally, heavy liquid separation laboratory equipment is expected to boost heavy mineral separation capacity, with commissioning set to start this month, per the filing.
