Brainsway Ltd (BWAY) said Wednesday that Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield, a nonprofit health insurer, has adopted a new medical policy that expands coverage to include patients ages 15 and older with moderate to severe major depressive disorder treated with BrainsWay's accelerated SWIFT Deep TMS protocol.

The protocol consists of five 10-minute treatment sessions per day for six days, followed by two sessions per day once a week for four weeks, the company said.
