Domino's Pizza Enterprises (ASX:DMP) named current Group Chief Financial Officer George Saoud as group chief operating officer, effective immediately, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

In his expanded role, Saoud will oversee technology, procurement, and supply chain management, while also leading the company's financial strategy and capital management, the filing said.

Shares rose 5% in midday trade Monday.
