Eni's (E) majority-owned Var Energi said Tuesday it has secured 14 new production licenses on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, including six as operator, during the 2025 Awards in Predefined Areas.

The company was offered four licences in the North Sea, six in the Norwegian Sea, and four in the Barents Sea, Var Energi said.

Var Energi added that the awards cover mature areas of the continental shelf.
