Health care stocks were mixed premarket Wednesday, with the State Street Health Care Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLV) slightly advancing and the iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) marginally lower.

Astrazeneca (AZN) has acquired Modella AI, the companies said, without disclosing financial terms. Astrazeneca shares were up more than 1% pre-bell.

Glaukos (GKOS) stock was down more than 14% after the company reaffirmed its full-year 2026 revenue guidance of $600 million to $620 million.

Alto Neuroscience (ANRO) shares were up more than 1% after the company said it has been granted a US patent covering methods of treating depression with ALTO-207, which is a combination of pramipexole and ondansetron.
