Publicis' Data Advantage Likely to Become More Important in AI World -- Market Talk

Dow Jones
01/16

1445 GMT - Publicis is winning and retaining more accounts than its peers, thanks in part to a data advantage that is likely to become more important in an artificial-intelligence world, J.P. Morgan analysts say in a research note. The French advertising company's outperformance relative to peers in recent years reflects a better return on media investment for clients due to the differentiated data it owns through its Epsilon business, JPM says. Net new business gains in the fourth quarter are forecast to contribute 2.2% to Publicis' organic net revenue growth in 2026, which leads JPM to raise its estimate to 5% from 4.6%. The company is likely to give guidance for organic growth of 4% to 5%, in line with its first outlook last year, the analysts say. Shares trade flat. (adria.calatayud@wsj.com)
