Financial stocks were leaning lower pre-bell Tuesday, with the State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF) declining by 1.3%.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was down 3.9% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 4% higher.

KKR (KKR) and Blackstone (BX) are out of the running for Japanese skincare and haircare company FineToday, with rival Bain Capital making a binding offer, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter. KKR shares were down more than 2% and Blackstone stock was down more the 1% premarket.
