IR Japan (TYO:6035) said on Tuesday that the Tokyo High Court dismissed an appeal by Asia Development Capital and Asia Investment Fund, upholding a lower court ruling in favor of its subsidiary, IR Japan Inc.

The plaintiffs had alleged the subsidiary misused confidential information and sought damages of about 1.68 billion yen, according to a Wednesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

The high court rejected all appeals and ordered the appellants to bear legal costs.
