Mercury (NZE:MCY, ASX:MCY) reported fiscal second-quarter gas sales of 444 gigawatt-hours (GWh) at a volume-weighted average price of NZ$42.36 per megawatt-hour (MWh), down from 475 GWh at NZ$31.61/MWh a year earlier, according to a Wednesday filing with the New Zealand and Australian bourses.
Gas purchases in the three months ended Dec. 31, 2025, fell to 444 GWh at NZ$11.70/MWh, compared with 480 GWh at NZ$12.92/MWh in the prior corresponding period.
Electricity connections rose to 584,000, up from 582,000 a year earlier, while gas connections increased to 109,000 from 107,000.
